A: In most cases we can quote you over the phone or via email or text. Simply contact us with an approximate size and description of the window.
A: In some areas of the home, window glass must now be replaced with safety glass when being reglazed. This is to meet current Australian safety standards.
A: In older houses the windows may only have 3mm glass in them. This is ok provided the glass is no larger than .85 of a square metre in size. Larger windows will require 4mm thickness glass (or in some cases safety glass) depending on location and size of the glass panel.
A: Most likely your door will have toughened safety glass in it. Toughened glass has been heat treated and will rupture if attempting to cut or drill it.
To have a pet door fitted, first the glass will have to be replaced with a new toughened glass panel that has had a hole cut in it before undergoing the toughening process. After it has been made, I then return with the new glass panel, and install it and the pet door at the same time.
A: Simply measure your table and contact us with a size so we can quote you. We can advise you on such things as glass type and thickness. If you then would like to go ahead, we’ll come to your home and check measurements before ordering, and will deliver the finished table top to you when it’s been manufactured.
